2012 Nissan Frontier CC 4x4 SV

The Nissan Frontier has features big truck manufacturers did not even think of and makes a great all around vehicle for work or play.  The exterior is well crafted with color matched front bumper, which really adds to the metallic blue body.   The color catches the eye of the everyday driver, but it’s the little things that people look for when buying a truck.  First I noticed the front tow hook for pulling others out of the mud or snow.  The Nissan sprayed tough bed liner is always a nice feature, but the tie down rails really got me going. I was looking for things to put in the back just to use the rails.  Most trucks have little holes or spots where you can put a tie down, The Nissan has five rails (two on the sides, one against the cab, and two on the bed) two of which I didn’t notice until later, because they have protective covers on them when not in use.   The rails make tying down any sized item a breeze and very easy to use.  These features are overlooked by other truck makers and really make life alot easier.

The crew cab features comfortable sport cloth seats and has lots of room for any sized person.  I think this interior is more usable and something that you would not fret over getting dirty.  With the embroidered “Frontier” logo on them and an 8 way adjustable driver seat, why would you want to get it dirty?  The back seats flip and fold up giving more cargo room for things you don’t want to carry in the bed.  There are also little cubbies to keep small things organized when loading up.  The bluetooth system can support up to five phones so there is no unwanted resyncing when others drive your truck.  The 4wheel drive system is really easy to use and features 4lo – 4HI like most other trucks, but it has a traction control which can be turned off when needed.

I could see myself towing something with the 4.0l 261hp/281lb-ft V-6 as it has the torque needed and mirrors that stick out of the sides far enough to see.  The  ride is really smooth and feels pretty centered when cornering.  It felt less like a truck during city driving with little to no road noise.  Nissan has done a great job building a truck that works without working you.  At $29,085.00 with the SV package and floor mats makes this an affordable and very reliable vehicle.
