The Mercedes Benz M class is redesigned this year in its third generation. Many things have changed; the most in my opinion is the safety features this car contains. It truly is amazing. Other cars may have some of the same, but not all combined and not to the degree

Mercedes M class does.

‘Attention Assist’ is an element that can save your life. Everyone at some point gets weary on the road. Statistics have shown an overly tired driver can be just as dangerous on the road as an intoxicated one. Attention Assist can detect any substantial change in your driving and alert you by vibrating the steering wheel. This happens by an “onboard camera photographs your lane position 15 times a second and helps with unintended lane drift”. (www.mbusa.com)

Mercedes listened to their customers and improved the M class based on consumer feedback. This newer model ups it horsepower from 268 to 302 for a more powerful drive. The wider rear makes way for a more spacious 2nd row of reclining seats. Thankfully, the cruise control was relocated to a lower, more standard position. The turning radius on the M class is phenomenal, making traditional SUV U-turns extremely easy. Mercedes’ Pre-Safe Break System gives the 2012 model 40% more breaking power; always a good thing. The M class is ready to be taken on any destination or sports game with it’s upped 7,200 lb towing capacity and a DC power outlet in the trunk of the vehicle to connect to for tailgating. Agility control on the Mercedes adjusts automatically for the road surfaces you may be driving on, whether dirt, gravel, or grass. Blind spot sensors and heated/cooled drink holders will be added in January to the model. Overall, great car. I thoroughly enjoyed the smooth ride the Mercedes gave. Lifetime roadside assistance and at home services, such as oil changes and tire rotations, are impressive accommodations offered. A luxury car it is, starting at $48,000. Well worth the investment if feasible.
