2012 CADILLAC CTS-V WAGON

Cadillac CTS-V

I never grow tired of seeing what Cadillac comes up with next, by my last experience in the CTS-V coupe; I can only imagine the potential of the wagon.

Aside from the V logo’s colored calipers and 19” sport rims, it looks like any other luxury wagon until you fire it up.  The exhaust is unmistakable, at open throttle you double-take to see if it was the wagon that made that sound.

The interior is amazing with Recaro performance seats (optional) that are heated and vented (optional).  Midnight sapele wood trim package is beautifully laid and adds to the prestigious appeal of the car.  I have been asked” what is your definition of luxury?” My answer, “Cadillac” they are always ahead on technology and appearance the classic are sought-after more than most muscle cars.   The Navigation system w/ Bose 5.1 surround sound system is superb matched with the XM Radio (service sold separately) you have continuous styles of music at your finger tips.

The 6.2L V8 lays a remarkable 556hp and 551lb-ft of torque to the ground.  With stabilitrak and traction control, it keeps this beast from breaking loose and throwing you around.  The 6-speed manual transmission should get awards as they are always crisp and precise, something you can’t get out of other sports cars. Let alone a Wagon!

The 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon breaks rec
ords ad just as fast some Exotic cars that would set you back 3 times the cost of the V.  On the track you would never even know you are in a wagon with the magnetic ride control suspension helping you carve every corner and the Brembo brakes that never seem to fade.   Whether a track car, or a family wagon.  Your wife could easily be convincing you to purchase this one of a kind beauty.

The most remarkable things about all the V’s is the price, for this wagon with all the options you are looking at $70,980 this will get you;  Recaro seats, metal pedals, heated vented front seats, crystal red tint coat, midnight sapele wood trip and yellow calipers.  Not a bad deal when you factor in everything you can pull away from a $100, 00+ exotic cars.  Also gas consumption is better than some exotic cars @ 14mpg in the city and 19mpg on the highway (give or take depending on driving conditions ,how well maintained and of course the driver)  pretty much you are buying a Corvette that you can haul the family in and keep a class of luxury other cars dream of.
